Salman Toor
This week, Orato Art spotlights Salman Toor, the Pakistani-born, New York-based contemporary artist celebrated for his intimate, dreamlike figurative paintings exploring identity, belonging and human connection. Recognised for his expressive brushwork and distinctive luminous green palette, Toor brings a contemporary perspective to the traditions of European portraiture. His work is currently the subject of Salman Toor: Someone Like You at London's Courtauld Gallery, his first solo museum exhibition in Europe, running until 10 January 2027.
